I am grateful to raise my two children within the wonders of these forests, waters and mountains that seem to stretch forever in every direction. This land is the unceded traditional territory of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, and Syilx peoples, while also home to the Métis and other diverse Aboriginal persons. I recognize my responsibility to contribute to advancing Truth, Justice, and Reconciliation, with and for Indigenous Peoples.
